Black Eagles were drawn in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round against Sroki Brijeg of Bosnia

Draw for the Uefa Cup second qualifying round in Nyon paired Besiktas JK will play Bosnian side NK Široki Brijeg. Games will be played on 14 and 28 August.

The 37 Uefa Cup first qualifying round winners were joined by 27 clubs entering the competition at this stage, including (for the last time) eleven progressing from the Intertoto Cup. The first round draw will be held on 29th August in Nyon, with the ties to be held over two legs on 18th September and 2nd October. In that draw, the 32 winners of the final qualifying round will be joined by 48 other clubs - including AC Milan and the 16 sides eliminated in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. The 40 first-round winners will then take part in the Uefa Cup group stage.
