Tired eagle left 2 points with goalless draw

Besiktas were held to a goalless draw at home by Istanbul BBS in the 10th match day of Turkcell Super League. Black&Whites had won the last 3 games before that match.

Team looked tired on some parts of the match because of the high tempo of the CL game 3 days ago. Serdar Ozkan and Bobo could not find the net on their goal attempts in the first half.

Besiktas goalkeeper Hakan Arikan helped his side with saves against Istanbul BBS forwards in the first minutes of 2nd half. Eagles missed the goal chance with Bobo's header,He hit bar at 67th minute. Besiktas could not put pressure on to find the winning goal in the last period of the game and got the third draw in TSL.

Magnificient fans,meaningful victory: 2-1

Besiktas had the first points on CL by defeating Liverpool. There were fabulous atmosphere in Inonu stadium. The huge Turkish flag was hanged down grandstand which ''Martyrs never dies'' writen on it.

Black eagles found the first goal owing to Red's poor defending, young midfielder Serdar Ozkan's shot deflects off Hyypia and into theback of the net on 13th minute. Liverpool press on the edge of the box but they can't get a shot off enough during the 1st half and finished with 1-0 score.

Second half was started with vociferous support of Besiktas fans. Visitors turning up the pressure and came closer to drawing goal with Gerrard but goalkeeper Hakan was'nt permited. Bobo missed an open goal, but 4 seconds later he rolled his shot through Reina's legs and found the net this time on 82nd. Gerrard's classy driving header goal gave Reds hope on last ten minutes but the game ended with 2-1 lead of Besiktas.

Bobo scores the goal,saves the ball

After falling 2-0 back in the sixth minute of the game Besiktas flew to a 2-3 victory.

Trabzonspor started the game with two shock goals. First goal was in the 1st minute by Gokdeniz and the second one was in the 6th minute by Yattara. Then Besiktas took the control of the game and Burak scored the 1st goal in twenty-second minute, just 4 minutes later Delgado scored the equalizer from the penalty and the first half finished 2-2.

In the 73rd minute Bobo, who had came on for nobre just a few minutes ago, scored the 3rd goal for Besiktas. In the 79th minute when Besiktas goalkeeper Rustu was penalized with a red card, and all three substitutions were fully used, the owner of the 3rd goal, Bobo, was the one to be the goalkeeper. Black eagles kept the score last ten minutes and game ended with the score of 2-3.

Three points brought by stylish goal

Besiktas won the domestic league game against Gençlerbirliği with Mert Nobre's classy shot just before the break.

Black Eagles started the game rapidly, created a lot of chances for goal owing to midfilder Matias Delgado. Burak Yılmaz and Nobre was not able to find the net until the 45th minute. Nobre controled the ball which came from Ali Tandogan's throw and scored stylish goal. Our team kept the score on 2nd half and match ended as 1-0 lead of Besiktas.

The Betters do not always win!

Besiktas having had the better of playing football, get valuable chances to led ahead Porto at 2nd CL match but visiting side scored in the dying seconds.

Black&Whites got very close to goal with Edouard Cissé's long range shoot and volley of İbrahim Toraman at the first half. Our fans support team with increasing chants minute by minute for goal but it did not come although set them pressure for Porto's side.

At the 2nd half, Argentinan midfielder Matias Delgado well passed for goal to Federico Higuain that only keeper to beat, but Porto's keeper Helton saved once again. Midfielder Ricardo Quaresma sliding a shot from close range past Besiktas keeper Hakan Arikan into injury time and game ended dramaticly.

Besiktas lost the first derby (2-1)

The first derby behind closed doors in the history of Turkish super league played at Ali Sami Yen Stadium due to the ban of Galatasaray.

The early minutes of the game staged a typical mid-field struggle by both teams. But the home side Galatasaray went ahead 1-0 with Hakan Balta, in the 23rd minute, then Chilean Tello brought the score to 1-1 with perfect shoot at one minute before the half time break.

Our team could not get organized well throughout the 2nd half. Galatasaray won much-talked penalty in 77th minute and Nonda put him team 2-1 ahead. Black eagles could not set enough pressure for equalizing goal in the last 10 minutes and home side won the silent derby.
